RRPG Mini Buffer / RRPG Buffer Pedal / Dual Buffer System

Our pro Buffers are now available, all hand built by ROAD RAGE

NEW DUAL BUFFER!! Now available!

We've been tweaking away in our studio working on the most transparent and coolest looking true bypass and In-Line buffers on the market. And we're happy announce our RRPG Guitar Signal Buffers are here!! These are the best, most economical way to keep your tone intact over long cable runs and multiple pedal rigs.

We can also point-to-point wire a Buffer into any one of our Bigfoot True Bypass Loopers! That's right you can have a buffer built right in! Check out our Bigfoot Looper for more info.

All our buffers are hand built in Road Rage HQ with nothing but the finest stuff! ... high fidelity opamps, silver solder, audiophile hookup wire, high-end double sided PCBs, gold plated machined IC sockets, metal film and tantalum caps, metal film resistors, true bypass 3pdt switches and of course our beautiful enclosures. This might be considered a bit over kill by some, but not to us! Helping you keep all of your guitar tone is what we are all about.

So what's this buffer stuff all about...

A lot of our clients ask about buffers and their importance in a True Bypass set up, the short answer is, they are very important. A buffer basically converts your high impedance guitar signal (which is prone to line loss at a very fast rate) to a low impedance signal (little to no line loss). A buffer converts your guitar signal so you do not loose your tone alone the away, in fact you will notice your highs are more articulate and your over all tone is tighter!

Once you use one you'll never be with out it!!

The optimal placement for a buffer is usually near the first of your pedal chain, it's also great to place one at the end of your pedal chain as well, especially if you have a lot of true bypass effects pedals. As with all buffers it is best to place them after any fuzz pedals. These are just suggestions, like always it's always best to experiment to get your own tone.

Please note: Buffers are not recommended for guitars with active pickups.
